Okay, so the first part was kind of like an introduction, just so that you know where she's at in her life.
ps. I don't know if eveyone who has said they have read it will like it.. cough cough ryan cough. Because it is a romance. :D
Chapter One (I do believe)
Amanda woke with Mallory shoving her out of bed.
“Ughhh. I don’t want to go to school.”
Mallory sighed, “You don’t have to yet. Today is Sunday. But you have to pull yourself together today so that you won’t be a mess tomorrow.”
Amanda sat up in bed and rubbed her eyes, “Great, I forgot to take put my contacts.”
She got up and heard clanking in the kitchen, telling her that she had more company. “I regret giving you a key,” she told Mallory as she wandered to the bathroom. She looked at herself in the mirror and gasped. She hadn’t allowed herself to do so in three days and she looked like a wreck. Days old mascara was running down her cheeks and the eyeliner she had been wearing made the bags under her eyes look more black than purple. Her hair was sticking out in all directions, no one would have guessed that she had had it in a ponytail, and her lips were dry and chapped. Amanda stood staring at herself for a few moments before reaching for the face cleanser on her counter and wetting down her face. She washed her face clean and brushed her hair, feeling a lot better.
Once again, this is only a rough draft and only a portion of chapter one. I shall add more when I can. aka three months from now. just kidding:)

I love the colors. I never realized how good yellow could look with purple... Oh, the possibilities...
ReplyDeleteUh *huh*. Riight. Take your word for it. Insert generic comment here. How long does it take you to write one chapter? I've written a bunch of stories, I just have to find the time to get them published.

ReplyDeleteLook, Gim. I don't know about you, but I have no time to do anything anymore. Doing Atyp has soaked all of my time, and while I have the first 20 pages of this written out, I have not yet typed it. So just be quiet.
